that is true but then why the constant delays and it also would look bad on romas part if they gave up on transfers before TAS made a decision on the appeal because that would make it seam as if roma was not confident that they did not have a strong case for an appeal (however they do have a VERY strong case).

It was never two years, just two transfer periods (one year).

This is ridiculous, I can't believe the ban wasn't even shortened. I need a drink.

Well, in light of Genoa, Messina and TOrino's problems, this may not be so bad for Roma. It could be worse. BUt I don't see how this makes things easy.

i guess because at least roma fans are assured to flight football next season and roma will still be able to field a decent team in the 05/06 season

I only wish...This is some good news for a change and allows our side to improve by the 31 August deadline. However, TAS has only suspended the ban and will make a final decision in september, either permanently lifting the ban or enforcing FIFA's penalty blocking us from the January 06, and following summer's tranfer markets. But now is not the time to be a turd in the punch bowl (how do you say that in la bella lingua?). This ruling will now allow us an opportunity to acquire the talent we need to compete for Lo Scudetto.

p.s. on behalf of SueB and all other Juventini, I will not mention how the suspension of the transfer ban, aids in their attempts to acquire Cassano. :D

My day is off to a great start! :D

Even if the club is unable to make as many moves in the next two weeks as we'd all like, atleast we get to keep Taddei, Koffour, and Nonda.
