Vancouver Saturday. US match in the morning.

    Who's doing what and where?

I'd assume the merry band of goons with RCS and Eads are doing Growlers but I'd like to tailgate with some of the other guys too.

I was thinking Amsterdam Tavern for the US game, but I also don't want to be somewhere too crowded and battle to get a beer. I know every place showing it will be somewhat crowded but overcrowded I find annoying. I know Blackpool Mike says he's going to Fox and Hound in Chesterfield. I don't really feel like going there, but will if others are going. Any other suggestions?
After the game I promised the wife I'd go home for an hour to relieve her from the kids. Then I'll head up to Growlers for a drink or two, then go to AB Park and tailgate with Chickenhead & crew before the game. That's the plan so far.

I'm watching the US game at a friend's house. The USA/Slovenia game at the 'Dam was too crowded and I couldn't even see the screen.

Some of my friends are going to try Tigins because its been a little less crowded.

Tailgating at the game probably about an hour before kickoff.

I want to be at the Amsterdam for the US game (watched the last one there with my brother and dmelsh), but I'm not sure if I have enough wife points saved up. I may need to do the US game at home since there's an AC game on the same day. (Guess I'll be waking up Saturday and checking the mood in the air.)

Growler's should be okay, though, I guess.

You can expect MOTHA F'IN' Battra to be at the 'Dam!

It is my neighborhood bar after. :)

Sorry...I'm great spirits today...not only is AC saved, but I WAS RIGHT!!

    Permission to look smug, sir.

    Permission granted!

Sadly I will be working for both games. However, I am going to try to take my break and come to the AC game for 45 mins or so. But I'll be watching the US game sadly from my phone.

First USMNT WC match I won't be at the Amsterdam because of a wedding I have to attend, and that'll keep me from the ACSTL match as well. But I'm looking forward to it anyway. :)

Ok, I'm in for Amsterdam Tavern!
    Then home for an hour.
    Then to Growlers (about 5pm)
then to AB to join up with demunb & gang (6pm-ish)
    then game!

Probably not going to the Players party at Hooters afterwards.

not happy about dealing with the crowd, but figure I'll just buy 2 beers at a time so I don't have to wait in line. I just hope I won't have to pee in one of the empties because of the bathroom lines.

We can always move down the street at the half if it's too crazy.

    Bring cash.

That's what I did for the Slovenia game. Tin Can had people, but it wasn't packed. If you're going to the Amsterdam I would recommend getting there well before the early game kicks off.
