Los portugueses resaltando la principal virtud del mudo: la anticipacion. Jugo bien en la victoria de su equipo anoche. http://www.ojogo.pt/26-308/artigo894749.asp
Absolutely stunning display by Mudo against Arsenal! It was unanimous between fans and press that he was one of the best on the pitch yesterday. I'm afraid that he might be leaving soon for a bigger european club, after such a display in such an important match... http://www.ojogo.pt/26-328/artigo897779.asp
Agreed but Chamakh (who assisted Vela with a header) was also on an offside position. Anyway, Mudo had to risk the tackle or else Vela would be free to shoot from a very close range.
I just saw the last 30 minutes or so and wasn't too impressed. Great win for Braga, though. Hopefully they can continue their run.
For those who were not convinved of Rodriguez great display, he's just been named for the UEFA team of the week: http://es.uclratings.uefa.com/Player/TeamOfWeek/ (in spanish) Matheus, Braga's forward (who scored twice against Arsenal), was also named for the team of the week.
Yeah, that was a stupid thing to say. There aren't many defenders with Mudo's speed... He isn't being linked to any particular club in portuguese press but everyone knows that Sporting Lisbon (mainly) and Porto have shown interest. More so now that his contract link with Braga is ending. Anyway, I think there's a good chance that he might be transfered in January. Several european clubs (notably french) have been watching Braga european matches. Braga is known for doing business without too much publicity so it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him leave soon. The main problem for Braga is that Moisés (the other first choice centre-half) is too nearing the end of his contract...
having seen him live a few times he was fast...but that was in Peru so maybe that dosnt translate to fast in europe
Mudo is bound to stay till the end of the season (June 2011) now that Moisés, Braga's other top center-back, was transferred to Qatar. I hope we manage to sign a new deal with Rodriguez for a few more years with us but I doubt it. Anyway he was named captain in the last match and he did very well, as the team finally won an away match. He was decisive in our second goal: http://www.myspace.com/video/vid/107353771#pm_cmp=vid_OEV_P_P
Probably, we'll need a CB and rumors are that Rodriguez is coming our way. Are you a fan of Guti.HAZ, by the way?
