I'm just curios, since he was born in the US and automatically a US citizen, can he still play for the USA nats? Or was he already capped by a brazil youth team/ does not want to play for USA?

I believe that I read something before the season started about Faria and Bruce Arena talking about possibily having him capped for the US. I think he stated he would like to play for the US Nats.

    That's just wrong.

I'm not sure that Faria will be on the field at all much less back for this game...

I thought this thread might have some suggestions for "Thank you" chants for a returning Metro who really didn't want to leave. Instead, I see this.

If we want to pick on someone, there has to be a better choice. How about Jim Curtin?

Though Diafaria was not my favorite player this thread is off base and really wrong.

I didn't know his father passed.....for that he has my deepest sympathies....as for a soccer goes:

Good riddance....hope Chicago enjoys his suckatude....and he will NEVER suit up for the national team.....

Arena has brought in some bubble plays in the past but, Faria isn't even in the same ballpark as the bubble players....

Head on over to the Fire site. In the second edition of Curtin Call he gives you some ideas of what to call him.

Welcome to the New Soccer Nation.

Don't feel any obligation to show a modicum of human decency.

You guys are sick. Rodrigo was a good player for us and as human beings it is sick to mock someone for losing there father. That is downright disgusting. Lets evaluate what type of people we want to be.
