He's actually left-footed, but prefers to play on the right side, same difference though.

Well if we want to do anything in this group, now is the time to win. :)

It's even better news since Austria still has to play all four of its games against Germany & Turkey.

How are we not level? Or even in front? We will rue this result for the rest of the campaign if we lose this game?

I don't want to criticize Legaer too much since I think he had a decent game so far (apart from his free kick deliveries) but he really should have put that chance away, or at least put it on target. He had plenty of time and acres of space.

Second Austrian goal is a perfect example why you cannot get away with playing four CBs as your defense: shoddy wing defense.

2 - 3 and only a few more minutes to go

BDW and Di Rupo will have to fire Georges Leekens

    4 - 4, what a game

Please kick out Bailly and put in with Mignolet a REAL goalkeeper

I think he just seemed to lack trust today. Like Filip Joos said, high balls used to be his forte, and now he seems almost afraid to come for them.

It's also clear his defense was aware of his lack of confidence, and that cannot be good either. Gillet or even Mignolet deserve a chance.

Mind you, we lost the game today because of our shoddy defense of corners. That was comical!

The other goals were due to our shape being lost after the many substitutions (the 4-4) and the lack of a real fullback (the 1-2). With decent set piece defense, we win 4-2.

Thank god Van Buyten didn't play today. Atleast we had a quality defence this time.

Well at 500 posts I normally close a thread and have a new one opened.

Belgian Guy was nice enough to start Part VI.
