1st half was boring as hell.

2nd half ejection of a Rhino bench warmer dared to make things interesting but then....

Rhino's score two goals while being down a man.

I don't care if KC had their grandma's out on the field. They outnumbered the Rhino's (with about 4 Rochester starters on the field) and gave up two goals.

    P - U

Bring on the excuses, the fact that you don't care about a friendly, blah blah blah. The Wizards were representing the MLS (with a few starters here and there) and they blew chunks. And it was fun to see.

I'll post rosters tomorrow. Hard to keep track during a friendly.

KC website reports that they also played down a man during the second half after a NE fill-in (Asad) went down. I didn't see it, I don't understand it (are there not unlimited subs during a friendly?). Must be those nasty press people in KC making up stories about thier "team"!!!

(I'm only partially kidding about that)
(But if it is true, it'll make the KC freaks happy)

What appeared to happen was that KC subbed all of their players they brought out at the half.. So when this player got hurt, they had no one left that they could sub in..

Number 4 looks solid.. He is tiny but seemed to have a good shot and good presence on the field..

Not a bad finish.. Rochester seemed to rest the players that they needed to in order to get ready for the final stretch this weekend..

Hopefully KC won't be to tired on Wednesday.. God forbid they lose worse then when they were actually well rested.

All in all, your typical friendly... No blood, no harm.. Let's move on.. I can't wait til the Rhinos kick your arse in a game that actually matters..

3-2 in overtime. Rhino's held a 2-0 lead into the 85th minute and then attempted a defensive shell. Didn't work.

that line-up can't be right for the simple reason that BoO was suspended and in KC. Taly Goode had to be in goal the entire game, as he was the only keeper we brought. If ignoring this little error, it's good to see there were NO starting Wizards playing in the second half. the only two wizards who played the whole game were Arnaud (our 2002 SuperDraft 5th round pick) and Brunt (who is just gawd-aweful). Keep puffing out your chest, buddy. You beat a team of scrubs.

Well then, Taly must have had quite the tan in first half and must have undergone skin bleaching during the half...Bo is suspended from US OPEN CUP play. Bo played last night. I was impressed with him. He's a much better goalkeeper than street fighter. You just better pray that KC doesn't need Goode between the pipes. His foot work and foot skills are atrocious. He looked very awkward out there.

As a DC United fan, I still have NO IDEA why Chino was playing in a meaningless friendly like this for another team. What kind of bush league ************************ is this?

all apologies. four games in seven days obviously made me lose track, and I was recalling the Rampage game on Sat.

the game was completely and totally meaningless. kc had about...what?...a 1/3 of their players? the team representing the "Wizards" probably hadn't practiced once before the game.

and still, Asad got hurt by a stupid, reckless foul.

at least the guy felt bad about it afterward.

hopefully everyone will put it all behind them and move on.

I have no dog in this particular fight, but after seeing the events of this charade unfold, the boneheads that arranged this affair should be drawn and quartered.

MLS vs. A-League exhibitions have some value in March/April when both leagues are cranking up and teams need a competitive game. The USOC provides a venue for more meaningful MLS/A-League matchups in midseason. Having an exhibition of this type in August when both teams are focusing on their respective league is worthless to the teams, dangerous to the players and a waste of time for the fans. Shame on the 2 front offices.

Don't blame the wizard's front office. We tried to get out of this game. Rochester wouldn't let us. Do you think that we wanted to play 4 games in 7 days (even if we only brought 6 actual wizards with us)?

First off, the result doesn't matter at all.

The Wizards owed this game to the Rhinos from the Onandi Lowe transaction a couple of years ago. They got Lowe, the Rhinos got over 9000 paying fans, and there weren't any fights... what's the problem? Everyone's happy.
