He should move to Qatar, if Al Qatar paid US$ 1.5 million to Romario for just 100 days, they could easily hire baggio for more!

I think the MLS should link some type of deal with the big European clubs. Players like Roberto Baggio and Paolo Maldini can end their careers in the MLS to boost up the MLS game. Baggio can play in a big Italian market like the NY/NJ Metrostars and he would do well in that league as he is still very talented and skilled.

Maldini can play until he is 50 and represent himself well!

shouldn't there be a spurs rumor?
his name is huge, which means our image will be enhanced by (the rumor of) him coming.
and he's old as dirt, so he'll be able to fit into teddy's role quite nicely.

    i'll do my part.

I hear Roberto Baggio's coming to white hart lane...

According to the Spurs they are chasing just about every player under the sun, in fact I think Spurs are linked to Dino Panic, my dog, as of yesterday. They saw him dribbling the ball yesterday afternoon, "He's got a nose for the ball".

Even Spurs fans are making fun that they are linked to every name that comes to attention.

We have Baggio that might leave Brescia cause of Mazzone resigning, and we have Signori not renewing his contract, Di Canio leaving relegated West Ham and then Maldini rumours. Maldini is probably the best Central Defender in the world so he'll stay with Milan til he decides to retire to later get a job in the Milan managment. Signori will probably just change club, hopefully he could help Lazio. Di Canio has also been linked to Lazio, but i don't know what to think. Baggio will with 101% change stay in Italy, a likely destination if he leaves is Vicenza.

as of this morning, according to david pleat, "spurs have not tabled any formal offer for Dino Panic. speculation as to Panic's arrival at white hart lane to provide cover at the back for an injury-prone stephan carr is just that - speculation."

and from the official newsletter of the Spurs Supporters' Trust: "none at the lane have been overwhelmed by the performances of hoddle's two eastern european signings, bunjesinovich(sic) and acimovich(sic), and it's an understatement to say that going back to that talent pool for the unproven panich(sic) would not be welcomed by the supporters."

sorry, wise guy, but it looks like the deal for your dog just isn't on.

Pleat could be employing a smoke screen :D

Dino Panic pledged his allegiance to West Ham United despite their relegation.

Dino Baggio is now linked with a move to Spurs.

[just kidding - but he could be]

in this age of the mercenary footballer, west ham supporters will undoubtedly appreciate dino's commitment to the club.

perhaps he can play up front in place of the less-commited freddie kanoute. there are rumors that he wants to go to some other london club, you know...

Baggio should come to MLS. He probably won't get called up again to the Azzurri, so he doesn't need to stay in Italy.

Though 12 goals from a guy that is in his late thirties is pretty good and should be looked upon for a National Team spot.

i think that if some injuries occur they should call him up for euro2004 for one final last hurrah and it would make the italians fans happy.......

on RAI INTERNATIONAL the majority of people said they want to see their hero baggio on the national team for one more time

and perhaps Maldini can join them at euro2004 b/c wc02 was a horrible waay to end his international career

Maybe he's the Attacking Mid that the Fire are looking for.

    :D

Seriously, well sort of serious - Sampdoria.

Looks like he'll be staying on at Brescia:

It'd be great if they made it through the Inter Toto, so Baggio could play on the European stage again in the UEFA Cup. But he probably wouldn't play for them until the InterToto Cup final, if they even make it that far.
