    Oft-injured American right back/midfielder Robbie Russell (who played in the Champions League back when he was with Rosenborg) has left Viborg, who claim he will soon have a trial with RSL.

    When fit, he's a damn good player... the key phrase being "when fit".

    He's been called into USMNT camp 2-3 times, but each time, guess what? He got hurt prior to reporting.

    Okay... apparently my Danish wasn't quite as good as I thought. He recently trialed with RSL, and nothing has come of it yet. I don't know if he's still under their eye or not.

    It says it is not known whether it will be here in SLC or another club that his career WILL continue.

    How come we didn't hear about this earlier this month?

    On one of the post-game shows with Trey (I think, it could have been an interview with Lagerwey) he said that the trialists were being kept secret because allocation order would have to be invoked to determine the player's home in MLS and the RSL didn't want to give anything away to weaken a bargaining position. That might explain why we never heard Russell's name earlier in the month.

    As much as I disliked some of her negative and Snide comments so do I! It sucks that some idiots ran a huge RSL supporter out of the Forum as well as her Blog.

    I don't think anyone ran her out of anywhere, did they?

    I thought her site got shut down because she broke the rules of posting other people's content and then felt the effort to continue the site wasn't worth it (under a new banner) once it had been shut down... am I wrong?

    "she" is gone because "she" chose to leave.

    If you learned nothing about RSLFM over the time "she" was here, "she" did not do anything "she" didn't want to do.

    Gawd Effing Darn! Nobody ran her/it/them off from anywhere.

    Her/its/their Blog was shut down by Google because they had sufficient evidence to conclude she/it/they were engaged in theft of intellectual property.

    Period.

    If she/it/they wants to resurrect her/its/their blog (there are other providers of blog space besides Google, you know) and refrain from theft, then the world would be set right.

    Period.

    Get off the cross about her/it/them, really!

    yeah I dont know about any of that cloak and dagger stuff or all the controversies but it was a hell of a good place to get team news ahead of the curve. But yeah all that other stupid personal stuff bores me and I'm not interested. All I was saying is that she almost certainly would have reported on Robbie Russel's trial long before now.

    Back to topic, what do we know about him?

    Isn't this thread supposed to be about Robbie Russell? Isn't there somewhere else to debate about old news/he said-she said/etc? Bringing up this topic again just seems to bring something to mind...

    I'm not sure if you can find a Robbie Russell clip of any kind on youtube or daily motion, but I do know you can watch DaMarcus Beasley streak by him to take down Philip Cocu's perfect "touchdown" pass for the PSV Champions League winner against Rosenborg... I'm sure you can find that one! LOL

    But to help you out a bit, when fit, Robbie is a right back that can also play right mid, he's very strong, tackles hard and is good at linking the attack forward down his wing. He adds to the attack, but is not one of those drive for a deep cross wingbacks. He is also a good guy in the clubhouse and a good pro. In other words, he's never going to be a real star anywhere, but if healthy can sure make your team a lot more solid and steady at the back - the DMB oops notwithstanding.

    I'm confused. Was RSLFM more than one person? Or a man? Why the indefinite references to "she" or to she/it/they?
