It's Friday morning and just about everyone (save me) has gotten on a plane and is on their way to London. We have 17 people heading over from the US (and Canada) and we'll be in the North Bank (row M & row S) for both Liverpool and Chelsea. We also have a tour of Highbury on Tuesday at noon. I'll take a digital camera and try to post some updates on the ArsenalAmerica.com website. We'll also try to get some reports from our members who are over. If you couldn't make this trip, don't worry. We're going to try to do it again soon. Off to the airport!
You're not the only one not on a plane yet - mine leaves in about 9 hours. I, too, am bringing my digital camera along, and I plan to post pics and to send trip reports as well. Looking forward to it.
Awesome. I think we're all looking forward to hearing the stories about the trip. And since we're all pretty much friends here, I think the "What happens in London stays in London" rule doesn't apply. ;-)
Must agree w/ R/A Fan... Full Disclosure! Anybody going can send reports to me at rick@arsenalamerica.com and I will look to post them.
Filled with envy I'm just about to leave for Nevada Smith's and I can't help but feel a twinge of envy for all you Gooners who will be enjoying this match at Highbury. I can't wait to read the reports!
Yours truly couldn't make it, bruthurr. I'm sayin' my prayers, takin' my vitamins, and watchin' on TV. They got a couple of good shots of my cousin on the roadtrip section at arsenalamerica.com making sure the Evil Yevgheny isn't in the North Bank. Hey, how about getin' together on 1/1? -G. Rex
Well, I am back from Florida and have watched Arsenal cruise to a 4 - 0 win over Birmingham City and hopefully you are all back safely in the USA and enjoyed your trip to Highbury. From the reports and photos that I have seen it appears all was well. I hope that you all had a great time at "The Home of Football" and will return again soon. Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures in due course. "Happy New Year" to all at "ArsenalAmerica" and best wishes for 2003, and more silverware on the table! Jeff Lancaster.
