Lots of respect to all those who signed up early for the New England road trip - and to those who have suffered through the last week (actually, most of the season) and still stepped up and put their money down for the bus trip. You may well be insane, but you are heroes. Thanks to you, we now have only 5 seats remaining on the bus. #1: I'm impressed with this late rush. With the way this team has come apart at the seams, those who continue to stand by the team and the players that do care (we have a good idea of who they are) show a lot of guts. Is it 'unintelligent'? Could be, I really don't know - I get as down as anyone about these losses and the aimlessness of the organization...but I couldn't find it in myself to miss out on this match. Seems like a lot of people feel the same way - I've gotten two emails just while I write this post asking for info about getting tickets in the ESC section. Keep them coming. We want you all there. If you've never been in on anything ESC-related before, we want you there. You can bet that win, lose or draw, Saturday evening is gonna be a spectacle to match anything Metro has been involved in, in the past 7 years. #2: The bus isn't yet sold out. We need to get it done, and we're damn close now. A few of you mentioned that you may possibly have others coming with you. Find out - quick-like, please. We'd hate to disappoint people who think they'll buy their spot on Saturday 'if they feel like it' by sending them home to watch on TV, and we'd REALLY hate to go to New England without every seat filled. It's all coming down to the wire now; email me at michaelhkoch@hotmail.com if you want to book spots on the bus, or if you're providing your own transportation and just want tickets in the ESC section.
Mike, I keep sending you pm's, but your box is full. I have five interested parties, please hold the seats, i'll let you know bu thursday.
Email me ASAP. I have you down along with one other, so far...let me know the status of the other interested parties as quickly as you can.
Done = I got your email, added your guests to the list. Done = my head after staying up too late last night and waking at 8.
I thought they taught critical thinking skills, reading from context, and inferring unspoken information at your college - 'The Harvard of North Jersey'...what was it's name again?
michael...don't know where my emails fell in the timeline with this post...but me + 3 .... let me know if its confirmed.....
HOw about a 2nd smaller bus instead of a stand-by list? Just asking, It'll probably be impossible to get a second (smaller) bus going but just asking..... Every head counts. See you all in the playoffs...
Just curious here.......How many seats are in this bus??? How many people are gonna be in the bus??? Just wanna see how many Metro people will be there///
That's a nice idea, but on such short notice it might be impossible. If there is sufficient interest, you could always rent a car/van - we just did that for the DC match last weekend, and it was very affordable. If anyone has that idea, contact me or metrocorazon, and we'll give you any info you need to know.
Bus holds 55(seated). So thats 54 people on that bus, then you have about 25 other who are either there or going on their own. Plus whoever they invite. So youre looking at around 75-100.
Michael K. Any way I can get just tickets? If not I'm just gonna go up and buy them there and sneak into the ESC section. I need 3. E-mail Goalkeeps7@hotmail.com if ya have any questions
You can buy ESC section tickets at stadium. So even if the ESC can't get you tickets, there is still no need for sneaking in.
