Hello all. Long time no post.

Basically, I didn't watch the game last night. I knew what was going to happen. Granted, I didn't think it was going to be as bad as two red-cards from a hick who is upset about not being in Europe right now, and a fool who had to charge a TV-stealer with a second left in the game. But I knew it would be bad. Anyone who has watched this team from year one just knows when not to watch.

The entire team is out of control it seems. Say what you want about Charlie, but at least he was smart enough to realize what was going on with Mondelo and the fact that he had lost control of the team after a certain 5-0 loss to a certain crap team, and fired him ASAP. This won't happen in this situation because our GM is a fool, and an egotistical one that won't admit to making mistakes.

OZ should have been gone a long time ago. It never should have gotten to the point where we the fans actually saw the frustration between players on the field. Mathis had a complete lobotomy and turned into Frankenstein overnight. Faria NEVER yelled as much as he's been. Again, these things never should have seen the light of day, and should have been squashed behind the scenes.

Think of it this way. Charlie was a wimpy guy. Under him we had wimpy teams. Nick is a punk, and now under him we have a bunch of punks.

Clean house from the top on down. Get rid of the people who even dare display bad attitudes on the friggin' field. Hire a GM who knows what he's doing. Hire a coach that commands respect. Get rid of the Diallo's of the world who infect teams with his ***************.

It's finally all fallen apart right now. Everyone is screaming at each other on the field. Egos, and frustrations over the results and the lack of leadership have gotten out of control. We have just suffered our 5-0 defining 'get rid of the coach' game. But in this case, we didn't lay down and die. We killed ourselves because *************** breeds ***************. Clean the team from top to bottom.

Anyways, about the Rev game. We all know i'm been there from the beginning. I've been a positive thinker from the beginning. I'm not a member of 101, and i definitely don't go to every game. But some might say I've put in my fair share of time to the Metros and MLS. I'm telling you right now.... if you go on the bus trip to see the final game, you are a masocist. You are NOT a supporter of Metro, because you will not see Metro out on the field. You will see the finale of ***************, much like the last piece of dung that hangs out your ass before it plops into the toilet. Go to the game if you like. Support the team because you feel it makes you an ardent supporter. But you'll be supporting a team that doesn't even support itself.

My suggestion is have no one go. Sending the ESC up to the game is a symbol that shows that the most ardent fans support the team that's on the field.

Not having ANYONE there shows an entirely different message.

They will not win this game. If you've watched this team from year one, you just know when they're not going to score. You know when they're going to lose. They will NOT win this game. If you love the MetroStars, do NOT get on that bus.

From top to bottom, this team is a mess. The sad thing is that only OZ will be gone. We'll still have Mathis, who is bitching and whining that somehow his deal to europe got cancelled. We'll still have Diallo, who is basically Tie Domi with skill... when he's motivated enough to display said skill. No matter how many new players are brought in, they will still be infected by the aura of what you are now seeing. When your grandma craps her pants and you have to clean up the bathroom, you clean that *************** from top to bottom. Get every little piece of corn, and every little piece of crap that's in every little corner. Get rid of it all, and flush it all down the toilet. Find what's infecting the team, and squash it like a bug. Trust me, it's not all OZ.

In conclusion, there are two types of metrostars fans. The first are 'die-hards' who think with their hearts, watching the team even if they know what they are about to see is ***************. The second think with their brains, and realize *************** when they see it, and don't want to feel like *************** watching a team that has all too often embodied the depths of what a sports franchise can fall to.

I fall into category number two. Too often, the people that fall into category number one want to be associated with something larger than themselves because they are losers in real life, or use the game as an excuse to have a social outing and drink and smoke themselves stupid. There are a few die-hards who actually do love the sport and the team, and that's what keeps them coming back again and again to watch *************** soccer that the Metros provide for those bargain prices of theres because hey, we have to support soccer.

A note to all that fall into category number one: there are much more important things to do with your time. Find one.

The product on the field, the bitching and moaning, the hacking and kicking, the lack of a cohesive TEAM, is something you can see for free in NYC or any local neighborhood where there are alot of hispanics who play pick-up games. You'll see all the hacking and *************** soccer you want. What you won't see are a bunch of college pussies who have egos on them the size of England, but would piss in their pants if they played against an english side.

..and hell, at least the hispanic pick-up teams display a modicum of passion.

To summarize: Don't get on the bus to NE. Spend time with your family. Go walk in the park. Read a god damn book. Do something that will make you happy. Don't do something that you know is going to get you pissed and depressed. One might call you an idiot if you did that. I know I would, and would be proud to do so to your face. The last thing this team needs is blind optimism from its supporters. Realize when you need to step away from your self-esteem fix when you're jumping around with all your supposed friends. Realize when you need to smoke up and drink at home instead of driving hours to THEN smoke up and drink. Realize when your support is a positive reinforcement to whats going on with your team. Don't show up for the NE game, and show them that YOU know what they've become... a bunch of whiny *************** bitches who have no leadership or positive inspiration anywhere in the organization.

    - Mm

    Nah, you're wrong.

Somebody has to go up there to bear witness to this crap pile, and provide some sort of accountability to these jokers.

They know how badly they've f'cked up this season. They'll especially know it when season ticket sales for next year drop dramatically. It's bad enough to pay to see a team so casual about losing home games, but to pay to see bad soccer on astroturf (no matter how much they gussy it up and pretend that it is an acceptable playing surface) is a total joke.

What's funny is that we're not hearing much from Nick Sakiewicz. He's so quick to get out in front of the parade, pretending that he's leading it, when things are going well, but where is he now?

So anyhow, the ESC should be there, with the deluxe banner and loud support, just to keep these bastards from having any excuse.

    Anyhow, Paul Grafer is unbeatable.

The team isn't playing well, so if we quit on them back we'll send them a lesson.

Right. You're a better fan than all of us.

What amazes me are the people who are falling for his joke. Dont you know Mejodo enough that his whole schtik in life is to get a rise out of others? I mean he goes on about people supporting a team and that they should spend time doing more important things, yet he wrote a 300 word essay on it.

I'm not sure it's a joke, but you make a good point. And thanks for not quoting his entire post like those other tools did.

I'm curious how much of a fan of Metro he really is considering he lists "Washington DC United" as his team.

It was actually a 1,215 word essay... and he's the one who said "there are much more important things to do with your time. Find one."

I agree Mejido. You all should just give up and begin supporting a team that has a trophy case. Like DC United.

A fan is a fan no matter what....

A fan is a fan no matter what his team does....
Sure, our team is playing like *************** right now, but there are guys on this team who play their heart each and every game (Howard, Faria, Jolley ) and these guys deserve our support. It is not their fault our team / coach sucks.

Ok, yea i'm a support D.C. but I'm actually going to put a neutral opinion into this. It sounds like you have a group of diehards and a group of regular supporters. The diehards have different views then the regulars, so why not just stop trying to influence each others' opinions and support how you want to support, not givin a flying f*** about anyone else besides people like yourself? That's where you're getting all of your conflict.
