D.C. UNITED @ KANSAS CITY WIZ OCTOBER 24, 2009 7:30 CT This is the last game of the regular season and they way we are playing it will be a must win game. The trip to Kansas City last year was the best road trip. The stadium and hotel are right next to a major entertainment (i.e. bar area). The hotel is in the parking lot of the stadium which allows for easy stumbling. Join us in KC for yards of PBR, mechanical bull riding, and watching United secure a spot in the playoffs. For $5.00 extra you can see the reenactment of Chico breaking his wrist. TICKET INFORMATION: VIA PAY PAL: $17.00 to jigiel @ nealon.com [remove spaces] (Please put “KC” in the subject line) CASH AT TAILAGTE: $17.00 Tickets will be available for pickup at the tailgate. However, if you specifically request that the tickets be left at will call under your name then I will make the appropriate arrangements. this one comes down to finding cheap airfare for me... if i can get a flight for under 200 i will be there
who the fck is Scrigs? For an extra $10 you can go meet the cute nurse at the KC emergency room with Chico
On my calendar. I'll be making my arrangements tonight. Jay I'll be send the money tonight. I ain't missing this road trip. I'll go for Chico's $10 offer that includes the nurse. I am going to mention this match to Brian's girlfriend, but I just checked the K-State football schedule and it is their homecoming. Doubt if she'll be coming to KC to see DCU.
There was airfare under 200 on expedia when I checked right after this thread was started. Happy trails.
hey jay, which airport was one by their little stadium? i know there were 2 and one was close by, no?
Im thinkin about drivin! yes i know its about 16 hours but who cares! road trip! anyone interested lol? NO RENTAL! will drive a toyota camry so were easy on gas as well
If you want to do a stopover in Dayton, OH, I'll jump on to the road trip the rest of the way. You can stay here on the way there and back. We have plenty of room (considering I have a house to myself!).
anyone remember if hotel had shuttle to airport? Don't feel like renting a car when we can walk everywhere
I'm goin out late Friday on UA goot be around during the day. I'll be comin' back on Monday though. Gonna see how Brian's gf is doin' on Sunday if she isn't working. I'll be rentin a car.
Under $200? Now, that's doable. Now if I can just convince the spousal adjunct that she doesn't need a new dress for the office 'Holiday' party....
