I'm heading to the Red Bulls game in September, I figure to make a weekend out of it and enjoy a weekend in Manhatten. If any other Crew fans plan to be in the city Friday night too please drop me a PM, why not meet up for a few drinks!

If "The Poster Formerly Known As BrooklynCrew" comes around, I'm sure he could give you a few ideas on where to drink, where to stay, etc. I think the new ID is crewvillain or something like that.

Its an official NorOnTour trip, so on top of the bus we usually see quite a few people just get game tickets through us and go on their own to make a weekend out of it. But, people usually don't know till a couple weeks before.

I know the lady and I had talked about going for a 4-5 days (stay with some old friends we haven't seen for a while a couple nights, then get a hotel a couple nights), but we probably won't decide until a few weeks out.

    Hey all,

I've been living/working in NYC for more than two years and this game is my Crewmas. If anyone needs extra tips on where to stay / what to do outside of the NorOnTour events just shoot me a PM.

Any info on tickets or a section for the game?

From the other thread about this same event:

I would just buy tickets through Crew Union or HSH. If the bus isn't a feasible option, I'd look or ask for a "ticket only" option, as they usually exist. I'd imagine that calling the RBNY office would only confuse things.

The bus usually leaves from the stadium parking lot really in the morning, gets to the stadium in time for a tailgate, and leaves not too long after the game ends. Depending on the type of trip, it may involve an overnight stay following the game.

Once again though, exact details should be forthcoming soon.
