Road to the 2002 College Cup [R] Thought I'd start a thread for the brackets to get posted here, as well as predictions and potentially results as the tournament gets underway. As a starter, anyone know when the draw will be released?
tomorrow afternoon, around 3:30 or 4:00 i think. www.ncaachampionships.com will have coverage. last year the draw was on tv.
Well I, for one, surely hope that the players of those teams that are on the bubble attend their classes tomorrow instead of watching the infernal television.
Don't worry Heywood, the selection show is always in the evening so most students wouldn't be missing classes anyway.
probably no live draw like CBS's Road to the Final Four in BB I did look ahead on the DirecTV menu which has most all the Fox stuff included, and I didn't see a thing. Also checked the ESPN channels and nada.
Hey collegesoccerfan#1, you know who will have the best info on the tournament locally! Check out the 6:00 news LIVE from Chapel Hill.

They didn't do it all nice and slow like last year. There were NO breaks and it went really really fast. I'll go through and put the locations in the draw in a second.
How in the world did Penn State get a first round bye? I mean, I know they won the Big 10 tourney, but before this weekend they were questionable about even getting into the NCAA's. And now they are given a first round bye? I don't mind much, though, because of any team for UNC to play if it gets to the 2nd round, Penn St. is fine with me. They are good, but I'm not convinced they're in the top 16.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee sure didn't get much love from the powers that be. Not even a first round bye for the 9th ranked team?
I guess most of the battle for the Palmetto state will be decided with which team comes out of the Coastal/USC then winner vs. Clemson part of the bracket. I'm sure Furman will still feel like it's the best team in SC, but as usual their weak schedule has hurt them for tournament seeding.
