Dont know I would say when the normal automatical offside line technology cant see it, then its no offside. But it is, what it is.
Hosoya right foot was offside. Point is that Hosoya right foot position had no consequence in the action that rule to the goal. If Hosoya had put his right foot just more inside then it would be no offside. What a joke. This rule MUST be changed.
This is a good example of why they have to change the rule so that the entire attacking player's body is offside. Hosoya was completely in front of the defender and got no advantage whatsoever from his foot being offside. If it even was offside, that is. We had no good replay or lines drawn for us.
Yes but it all turned good for Japan in that match. On the contrary when things go bad as today JNT fall apart. This young ones have the potential to draw, as Hosoya did, let's hope they are more mental tough that the seniors.
And by the way the Japan goal against Spain at the WC was clearly in, what they show after with the line technology. In this case the line technology couldnt say if this was offside or not. So they decide to check it with human eyes. And there is the mistake, when a machine with pixel technology cant see offside, then you have to say its not offside, cause you cant be sure. And when you are not 100% sure, its no offside. The german comentators also said, its very questionable.
For me it's over. Japan had its chances, Hosoya delivered but the rules are the rules. Now it s only a matter of time: Spain double or match finish. What an agony.
I feel the same but dont give up, its not fair for them. They played a great tournament a game till now. Its over, when its over. So still time. GANBAREEEEEEE!!!!!??
Nothing is over before its over. But yeah will be hard. To be fair both goals could be saved. Kokubo didnt look good by those.
I guess perhaps Kosuke Nakamura/Kosei Tani/Keisuke Osako should still be considered for the JNT GK as well.
