Pedro Troglio wants to manage the NT through the 2026 cycle and full control of the youth teams. Honestly I think FENAFUTH should give him the reins.

I’ve been good Eddie, dealing with a mediocre Honduran NT and a very bad Chicago Fire team. At least I still have the USMNT to cheer for right ? Lol.

How are things with you? I heard the Guate Fed is interested in hiring Pinto to manage their NT.

If Pinto comes in it better not be for beyond this Qualifying stage.

Troglio is smart for wanting a long term commitment and the fact that he wants total control of the U20 is music to my ears he will likely want to install his own people in that position.

I mean he did wonders for Olimpia, he strikes as the kind of guy that doesn’t take any s***. This is the kinda guy you want in a locker room when things get tough.

Troglio should be the choice, we can hope.

    Yes they are.

But I think he would want to go to Honduras and have a quick chance to qualify to another WC.

That 4th spot is still up for grabs to all 8 countries IMO.

    WTF!!! Smh.

El Bolillo was in Guate around 2007 and his only accomplishment was beating México 3-2 at the LA Coliseum.

His style tends to be a VERY defensive contragolpe and I honestly don't like it.

    Hopefully this is fake news.

Bolillo couldn’t cut it with Guatemala or in Panama, we just hired everyone else’s reject.

At least we won’t have to face USA,Canada or Mexico in the 2026 cycle.

I consider myself Bolillista so this is bad news for us… you will play 4-4-2 at home and 4-5-1 on the road.

You will secure results with 1-0 and 0-0 because he prioritizes the defense system… in the attack side the team will wait to get the best chance, overall all the lines play together with not much separation, just to keep the defensive system.

Attacking and scoring is going to be tough, but he’s a man with a lot of experience and luck to be honest, so you will manage to get some results.

For the panamanians aspirations in the next window, expecting to get 3 points on the road vs you guys, now it turned to be a very hard situation… most probable result: 0-0

Like I said, Troglio would have been the best choice. So the Fenafuth went out and did the opposite. This is a joke.

The only thing I can say, this is a chess move (not the outright best move) since Gomez clearly knows Panama well.

He has the NT only until the end of WCQs.

    Guess they didn't want a long-term solution

Cádiz CF is the only Spanish club that believes in Central American talent.

I just wish they won't get relegated again.

^ I left Moya out, can’t do that. He’s in instead of Rochez or for J. Rubio.
