Road Kits

I don't understand why the away kit should inspire such a sexist and homophobic rant. I thought it was pretty cool, though I doubt I'd buy it (as if Nike would ever make them available!) and would rather they kept the black stripes.

 

Those jerseys are pretty bad. They're like 2 times the size of the regular jerseys. Isn't that swoosh design the same as the one on the keeper jersey Timmy wore last year?

Yeah, that's what I thought. We got Inter or PSG's leftovers.

 

I think they were actually dressed in their jammies for the long night flight home.

 

PSG's actually looks pretty nice. I'd rather have the white version of San Jose's as our away. Or a striped white and black jersey at least.

 

what about Colorado's Inter kits, no team in the league has amazingly innovative uniforms.

 

And remember when the uniforms were innovative? I'm just fine with the knockoffs.

 

This is simply not true, but perhaps you haven't seen some of the older Metro jerseys. Anyway, I like it when all people have to complain about is the uniform.

 

yea, those are real ugly ugly uniforms...

they make the metros look like the most unathletic unintimidating team ever... which is only partly true...

but seriously, they were hideous... and yes the collar area looked awful

 

Geez, they can wear NJ State Trooper Uniforms for all I care, results are results (footie that is, not fashion) - function over style, any day of the week....

I don't mind the jersey, I just don't like the whole kit! If they wore dark shorts (and every other team in the league), they wouldn't look like they're wearing pajamas on the field.

I'll second that. Wasn't too long ago we moaned-n-groaned about weird unis that looked nothing like traditional football kits.

I wouldn't mind seeing Metro keep the black shorts with the white tops away, but supposedly they have to wear the uni as supplied, no mixing and matching allowed. Also, they have to stay with the league theme for away kits: The Ice Cream Man Cometh.

 

Shrewsbury can't lose.
