Why are you spared only at work? No one I know would even think of suggesting that I entertain right-wing viewpoints in my own home. Conservatives (I do know a few) are expected to keep their opinions to themselves or they'll be asked to leave, and they know this up front.
I wasn't clear. What I'm actually being spared is the morbid curiosity that could lead me to watch this on my TV. The only other human being living in my house won't tolerate it at all, so if he's awake when I get home, I am further spared the consequences of my attraction to train wrecks.
