Any info on whether Rizo will be playing on Saturday? And, how did Sleeth look like playing D for the Fire last year?
I thought Rizo looked pretty good this last game. One sweet tackle on a breakaway and he looked pretty good pushing forward. Surprised nobody has commented on his performance so far.....
There's a fair bit of criticism of Rizo, good and bad, in the post game thread. Some posters thought he gambled too much. I thought he had a nice game and will prove to be a key pickup. One thing I noticed is that he seems to have some offensive skills when he does get forward, which I believe will occur quite often. We may start out in a 442, but Chung's habit of going inside causes us to quickly morph into a 352. As this occurs Rizo will spend a lot of time in midfield.
