Well considering the amount of internationals we have at the moment, I thought this would be a good thread to create so we can discuss how our players do on international duty. Honestly, since D'Onofrio took charge, this thread has been a long time coming given the amount of players we have given to senior national teams and also to the Argentina Sub 20 and Sub 17.

Today, Uruguay beat Bolivia 2-0 in the altitude. Carlos Sanchez assisted the second goal with an absolutely perfect free kick that found Godin inside the small area for an easy header. Spectacular set piece from Carlitos- one of the aspects of his game that has improved most under Gallardo. Under Almeyda and Ramon his corners and FKs were pretty inconsistent, leaning to the side of poor.

Mayada also came in during the first half when Independiente player Cebolla Rodriguez got injured.

In other news, ex-River Teo scored for Colombia while Balanta was an unused substitute.
