I think he will replace Ibarbo with Jackson Martinez and Teo will be the second striker, the same position as in River and in my opinion it is his original post. ----------------J.Martinez------------------- ---------------------------Teo---------------- -----J.Rodriguez-------------------Cuadrado -----------Aguilar----C.Sanchez------------ Armero-------Yépes---Zapata--------Zuniga -------------------Ospina------------------
Off I am so proud, I started a facebook page one month ago to advertise River in my country: Hungary, Europe and now I have 2000! fans! Hope I can get more River fans in my country, people have to LOVE this team in Europe also, not only in South America, because RIVER EL MÁS GRANDE DEL MUNDO! www.facebook.com/RiverPlateHungary
I'm looking forward to the colombia game most of any of the Round of 16. I also believe that if the officiating is fair, Colombia will knock out Brasil... That is unless another ex-River Alexis Sanchez and Chile don't knock them out first
I see Colombia as the favorites to knock out Brazil. If Neymar gets a yellow tomorrow then it's guaranteed their $8 billion investment in this World Cup is over.
Teo played today again very well, Colombia's play went to bad and defensive after Pekerman changed him to Meija. (But maybe it was the tactic). Congratulation Teo and the other River players Carbonero, Balanta and Yépes! I think Yépes could play here 1 year, I think he is in a very good condition, he will be a good alternative for Balanta! Vamos Colombia & Argentina!
Well now that Uruguay is eliminated it would be interesting if River can sign Lugano this month. He's got no club and we got three tournaments to win. I love Yepes but man he's old. I think he's more comfortable living in his last years in Colombia.
I'd much rather have Lugano than Yepes... Even though Yepes has been a warrior this tournament and he is a River fan (in the colombia-argentina match in El Monumental he wore a red/white captain's armband in tribute to River) the dude is 38. This world cup is taking everything he had left in the tank... I think he may even consider retiring. Lugano is 33 and still has plenty to give even though his world cup was pretty forgettable. I think he would be essential in the sudamericana and libertadores campaigns As for Teo, he was really good yesterday. His link up play is so superb especially in the build up to James's second. I am desperate for Teo to stay at River next season, I think he is finally settled at the club and he is poised to really show is full potential. As good as he was this season scoring some important goals, argentinos, velez, etc. i still don't think he has come close to reaching his full potential as a River player.
I think Teo will stay with us. He is 29 years old, he has't got a good 'picture' of him in Europe, so I'm hopeful he will stay at River next season! He found his 'home' at River!
Anyone have any news on colombia line up? i've seen lots of rumors including Teo-Jackson and also just Teo with Ibarbo and Cuadrado and also with Jackson replacing Teo... I hope Teo starts please Pekerman
Grande Pipita! What a performance by Higuain.. And let's not forget about Mascherano, who has probably been the best Argentine player this entire WC.
4 ex River players, graduates of the BEST academy in the world drag argentina to the final. Thank you Masche most of all Meanwhile, a bostero, palacio, nearly costs argentina for being such a shit player... Why put him in? Why take him to Brasil? Questions only the traitor sabella knows BUT VAMOS
Meanwhile Teo, who is almost sure to stay with us this season had this to say Teófilo Gutierrez R. @TeoG29 · 1h Hoy comparto la alegría con ustedes mi segunda familia ¡Felicitaciones Argentina! Teo es imposible no quererte. No veo la hora de verte con la banda
The best Argentine players (and the ones who put the most balls and garra) in each line today were millonarios: Defense -- Demichelis. Outstanding. Fantastic. Has transformed a shaky, slow defense into one of the best in the tournament. I honestly did not expect this from Martin at this age, but he has shown he still has quality. Midfield -- Mascherano. I don't even need to say anything. Who in the world has the huevos of this guy? Player of the tournament by faaaar. Forward -- Higuain. Might not have scored today, but he was much more of a threat than Lavezzi, Aguero, and Palacio combined. Not to mention his non-stop sacrifice. What a player when on form. Incredible that Sabella subbed him out. MADE IN RIVER. VAMOS ARGENTIIIINA CARAJO!!!
