I think this match will be tougher than many expect.. Caracas shocked many when beating LDU, a tough team, 1-0 in their first game of the group stage. Not only that, but River has announced that they will start their "squad rotation" and are expected to play with several substitutes.

Either way, I have faith in River.. Aguante River, hay que seguir como punteros. :)

    Damn LocoXRiver,
you really surprised me with that humble response.

BTW, CaracasFC is just like LDU, pretty much the national team with 3 foreign players :D

Usually Richard Paez takes about 4-8 players from CaracasFC for the national team.

    - Jose Manuel Rey: Ex-Atletico Nacional central defender
    - Jorge Rojas: Ex-Atletico Nacional left winger
    - El Maestrico: Ex-Deportivo Cali (last year)
    - Edder Perez: In the game vs. LDU the argentinian narrators said: "If any team needs a left defender (lateral) his name is Edder Perez"
    - Leonel Vielma: Ex-Deportivo Cali, defensive midfielder. He's not that good, but he's our "thug".
Peruvians love him because he dragged Guerrero like a little b..ch by the shirt and he didn't get a yellow card :D

    - Alejandro Guerra: Best midfielder in Venezuela after Arango from Mallorca,Spain. Keep an eye on this kid.

    Re: River-CaracasFC

I warned you guys that it wouldn't be an easy match.. River played a bad game, and if the players were on fire, the score would have been much different.. Either way, I think the loss was unfair. Despite not playing a good match, River reached Caracas' goal many times (2 balls hit the post, a chilena by Marco Ruben, etc.). If we would have been precise, it wouldn't have mattered if we played good or bad, we could have still won the match or atleast tied it.

As for you bosterosoy, I wouldn't make fun of elmuneco.. Or did you already forget how you were saying Boca had great chances of beating CASLA since Ramon was their coach? ;)

    Re: River-CaracasFC

You are a little too positive in your analysis.
River Plate had 80 minutes to score a goal and couldn't do it.

Ruben's chilena went straight to the goalie and soft.

Now, the 2 times that River hit the post  ... I'll give you that one.
Uhhh, and also the ball that a Caracas player hit out with his head right on the line.

    BTW,
Colombians should be happy too, because our 2 forwards are colombians,
all 3 foreign players in the team are from Colombia

We also have Rey, Rojas, Gonzalez, Vielma & Rouga that recently played in Atl. Nacional, Dep. Cali, and Junior.

Hey, I'm man enough to admit it, I never thought in a million years that Caracas would come away with a victory at Monumental. Just like I'm sure you never thought San Lorenzo would've dropped a swift ass kicking on you guys. Regardless though, I give props to Caracas. That's why in tournaments like these, you can't take any team lightly. It aint over yet. There are still four games to pay in the group stage.

Why do you keep on bringing up the San Lorenzo game? It's not even the same thing by a mile. Boca started out with more than 3 squad players and played half the game with 10 men. Plus San Lorenzo have a very good team this year.

You gallinas on the other hand lost with most of your starters and 11 players to a team from Venezuela.

You jokers are just gonna pull off another choke job and go out in the first round. Typical :D.

I have to admit that I didn't expect it either.
I knew there was a slim chance, but I didn't expect it to happen.

I do.. dont get me wrong, it was a very nice play, I'm just saying that River's defending was horrible

But congrats to Caracas, it would be nice to see a Venezuelan team go far in the Libertadores
