There is no reason for you to barge in here and be mean and spiteful. The league title of Argentina is not insignificant. Winning it 32 times is a great achievement. Losing in the Libertadores has left a sour taste in all of our mouths, but River Plate fully earned the honor of being number one at home.

    Respect it.

Although we lost to Los Bosteros in penalties in the Copa, to win the Clausura for the 4th time in the last five years was a great accomplishment. A reminder to those who don't think this accomplishment is worth a damn. This team played a total of 41 games combined from playing in the Copa and the domestic league. Sure we lost in the semi's to Los Bosteros by penalties, but as we all know, penalties in a lottery. Anything can happen. We beat them on there home ground in the domestic league and they won by penalties in Monumental. Both clubs are very equal in my opinion. What will be interesting to see, is how they both cope with many of there players leaving to Europe. Nearly all of Boca's defense is leaving(Perea, Burdisso, Rodriguez), and many of River's important players will be leaving to. Let's just see what happens on Thursday. Remember Bosteros, this isn't Santos you're playing again. It's a well organized Colombian team that doesn't play such an open game like Santos. We'll see if you can break there defense in Colombia.
