Well then good luck, and I look forward to having a rivalry with your team.

Also I go to Mizzou, and despise KU. ;)

It just doesn't get any better, does it?

Well, at least we both have our love of Arsenal in common :)

No, it's just a situation of "what have you done for me lately?" Even the Cubs won a world series once. ;)

    Indeed. Cheers.

A rivalry between St. Louis and Kansas City should be a fun thing to watch.

SAMLAKEY, I hope we can get past our argument and support St. Louis together, The point I was trying to make about the Irish was they were looked at as different "inferior" from the English that why they were oppressed. I didn't appreciate being called NAMES either. were both old enought to act better.

    I hope I didn't disrupt the thread too Sorry:eek:

First, thank you for reading the entire post :D
Second, I hadn't thought about it swinging on who else gets in.

I guess we are going to have to hold our hate until an announcement is made ;)

I understand that the English are sometimes bigoted against the Irish, it was just my contention that this was not defined as racism.

No matter though. In all likelihood, in two years, we can unite and hate one thing together- the Wizards. ;)

The point here was to create some fun. Don't take it so seriously. Seriously!

Have some fun with this. We can have a rivalry, can't we? We can insult without being dicks, right? Have fun with this rivalry, because we'll actually have a true one from now on.

Yeah, St. Louis Suckfaces are truly pricks. They know it. They know we know it. But at the end of the day we can all still be rivals and not take things over the edge.

Or is that not possible? I'd love to be able to leave threads like this open. Please give me a reason to.

You're missing the passion and love of TRUE "supporters" everywhere. Which is understandable, since you have not adopted the Wiz as your team in the first 12 years of the league.

    You'll understand... someday... maybe.

PS: I too am from the St. Louis area, and have been a WIZ supporter since day ONE, and have also been a Shield supporter since BEFORE day one. (don't divert from the shield subject)

    Without being TOO un-pc...

East St. Louis was a bit "different" back then.

As far as I'm concerned the Supporter's Shield is the real trophy and the MLS Cup is more of a "second chance" to win some hardware. Still meaningful , but I think the Supporters Shield is to the MLS Cup as the European Champions Cup is to the UEFA Cup (except for the possibility of winning both).

and this is the Wizards forum. If you don't like what's said about the possible future STL team, then you don't have to be in here.

But....but....he doesn't have anywhere else to go. It's not like they have an actual team yet, so he is stuck in the expansion forum, fantasizing about what it would be like to have a team to cheer for. :p Of course, if St. Louis ends up with a team in a couple of years, he will still be fantasizing about having a WINNING team to cheer for (see expansion teams: RSL). :D

This has the potential of being the most boring rivalry in the history of sports.

Can I put a whole thread on ignore?

Actually, that's very incorrect. I have the right to be on any forum I want; I also have the right to not be called a suckface on these boards. Let alone by a mod. Fact.

Already done; you're too late. Walter Kronkite went to our school; what have KU got? F all.

I'm fairly sure you intended to post the N word here.
In case you're wondering, KC haven't ever been listed very far from St. Louis in dangerousness. Look: http://www.cityrating.com/citycrime.asp?city=Kansas+City&state=MO
Your murder rate is 2.4 times the national average.

No, you say "We won the double!" Not weak at all.

If you can pull off the Open Cup or the CONCACAF Cup in the same year, you can claim to be the first to win the triple.

Actually, that's very incorrect. While you do have the right to be on any forum, we also have the right to call you a suckface, or a **********, a ********face, a shithead, a ********, or any other name we desire in our own forum. If we did that in your forum it would be trolling. Fact.

    I don't know WC, but i'm pretty sure what he meant was f u c k e r s.

Exactly, you don't have to come in this forum. Would DC fans take some of the crap you've said from a NY fan without telling you to go "die in a fire" or to ******** off? I doubt it.

Okay, Sam. So when and if and I mean a strong if your St. Louis team ever wins an MLS Cup and a Supporters Shield you cant be excited or brag at all. Apparently, that isnt much of an accomplishment.

If that accomplishment doesnt mean anything then why do we even have teams and a league?
