So why did Rivaldo stay at Milan for the time being? Why was he signed in the first place? I'm just curious if there's more than what we've heard. For example, did Ancelotti ever really want him at teh club? Did Rivaldo decide to stay to pull in some more salary?
He is only staying because he needs to be training with a club to keep his Brazil starting place. He was free and proved to tempting for Galliani not to sign. If he was not free he would have never signed for Milan. I don't think Ancelotti ever wanted him but it wasn't his decision. I'm sure alot more will come out when Rivaldo leaves in January. I don't know about that. From what I've read he actually ripped up his contract with Milan then he decided to stay. So he actually might be getting paid less now.
