    Kicker excerpt:
[…] He [GM Ricardo Moar] discussed the preparation for the coming season with [President] Kind and [Coach] Rangnick last Tuesday. If 96 remains in the Bundesliga, then “three, four experienced pros have to come to establish us.” The Spaniard does not want to talk about names or positions. It is an open secret that some regular player are on quasi-probation as the club is scouting the market on their position: playmaker Nebosja Krupnikovic, right backer Steven Cherundolo and goalie Gerhard Tremmel have to expect new rivals.

They forget the left backer btw., as Hannover wants to have Michael Tarnat from Bayern Munich. I’m not quite sure about the right backer. Definite is that they want a right backer, but this already due to the reason that they have no alternative for Cherundolo. We’ll have to wait and see who is signed - might be a young prospect, but can also be an experienced veteran. Can also be good for Cherundolo when he doesn’t have his spot guaranteed, but has to fight for his position.

Dolo is a good player, but is seriously lacking size. If he had half the skill of Roberto Carlos, then size wouldn't matter. I can see why any coach would want some improvement at the RB position with Dolo there. If I were Arena, I would give Gooch his chance when he is fully healthy ( I think he has been playing lately ).

I wish I was a little bit taller
I wish I had a girl who looked good I would call her
    I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat...............

I don't understand this honestly. From my review of match reports on here and the limited game or two that I have caught on FSW, I haven't heard or seen Dolo be responsible for that many goals. Could just be our YA bias, but he hardly is mentioned as the person responsible. Might just be a "we don't have a back up" issue as opposed to a we need an upgrade issue.

honestly, the word coming out of Germany had NOTHING to do with size, nor with quality of play that I saw in this post. But face it, if you're manager of a BL club do you feel comfortable being 1 deep at right back?

If that's it cool. No problem.
