Dolo is a good player, but is seriously lacking size. If he had half the skill of Roberto Carlos, then size wouldn't matter. I can see why any coach would want some improvement at the RB position with Dolo there. If I were Arena, I would give Gooch his chance when he is fully healthy ( I think he has been playing lately ).

From my review of match reports on here and the limited game or two that I have caught on FSW, I haven't heard or seen Dolo be responsible for that many goals. Could just be our YA bias, but he hardly is mentioned as the person responsible. Might just be a "we don't have a back up" issue as opposed to a we need an upgrade issue.
honestly, the word coming out of Germany had NOTHING to do with size, nor with quality of play that I saw in this post. But face it, if you're manager of a BL club do you feel comfortable being 1 deep at right back?
