Not really. Orlando is quite cosmopolitan thanks to Disney (there is a fairly large gay community). The Space Coast is also quite diverse. And while there are traditional areas of shit in the Tampa/St. Pete area, that is becoming very much cosmopolitan as well. And to give you an idea, my mom lives in a Blue district, and which has been blue for many, many years. Not traditional southern blue, but more Latino blue.
