Kinda like how Duh Santis tried to rag on Newsom with a "Bidenomics" dig. Newsom replied by rattling off a bunch of facts about all the good things that have happened with the economy, despite the GOP/media talking points
All in the Family, Sanford and Son, Maude, Good Times, The Jeffersons, and One Day at a Time were all on the air for the 75-76 and 76-77 TV seasons.
I just saw Eddie Murphy on Kimmel's show and he told a story about going on a dinner date with Lola Falana at her house back in the day. When the chef came out it turned out to be Bookman from Good Times! Lol.
The Seattle Sounders of TV. It was pretty tame compared to the British version but way out there for American TV.
Prince Constantin of Liechtenstein dies 'unexpectedly' aged 51 https://t.co/R83NhxGUn7— BirdieBittern (@BirdieBittern) December 7, 2023
He was just "a" prince, not "the" prince. As a Principality, the monarch of Liechtenstein is a Prince, but it wasn't this prince. This guy's dad is still alive and is the current ruling Prince, and the dead guy's older brother is the next in line for the throne. This guy was just some backup failson in case his older brothers died. The succession is safe!
Hans-Adam II is head of state. He's 78. Constantin was his 3rd son. By the way if Queen Victoria's eldest child had succeeded her, Wilhelm could have been both King of England and Kaiser of Germany, so there would have been no World War 1, rise of Hitler or World War 2. But her oldest child was female.
Being the 2nd or 3rd in line for the throne in a wealthy but insignificant country must be the best of all worlds. Since you're not going to be King, you can do pretty much whatever the hell you want. And it's not like you see crazy, angry militants in far-flung parts or the world chanting "Death to Liechtenstein!" while burning the flag. Although you might see that in Ireland, since the Liechtenstein national anthem just happens to be the same tune as "God Save the Queen."
