There isnt a judge, jury or policeman in the world that can hand out punishments to peole who havent been found guilty so why did the FA. The handling of this situation was grossly out of line 4 so many reasons. If this happened weeks ago why wait till the eve of the squad announcement to make it public? Why go public at all? Surely the player should have anonimity. The way he has been treated is disgusting. The fa have let themselves in 4 some serious flak. Can u imagin if england had conceded a weak goal due to a defensive error to turkey. The media and fans would ask all sorts of questions. Would that of gone in if Rio was playin? At the end of the day it has surprised me how against Rio the english media has been. Yes he was foolish for missing the drug test, but is it really that inconcievable that he jus forgot, after all he is only human.
