I, for one, enjoy this little competition.

"FCD won the inaugural Rio Grande Plate in 2006. After each team won their home game by a score of 2-0, we took the Plate with a 5-4 on penalty kicks at Estadio Universitario to claim the first edition of the friendly competition. The tables were turned in 2007, with Tigres claiming the Plate with a home 2-0 win and a 1-0 road victory."

I enjoyed going to the first game we played against them in Frisco. It was Saragosa's first game with the team and he scroed a goal. Hopefully the return leg will be played after May so I will be home to see it.

Are all of our weekends booked or something? Was hoping to catch this one but Wednesday night visit to Southern Oklahoma will be tough...

Oklahoma's going pretty far south if you include Mexico. ;)

Oh, it's in Mexico? Dang I need to lurn to read gooder.

That would be cool though...winner of the plate gets the Texas territory back (or gets to keep Texas). I bet we'd get a big-time DP if those were the stakes...

I have the feeling Tigres' weekends this time of year are pretty much booked too.

I like the Rio Grande Plate, but I think it's better to substitute the friojoles with another chimichanga.
