how long do these take to heal? don't forgot theres a international break, if it's only a week or so then he will only miss the England games..

We do have Evans. We basically own Antwerp. Their coach is ours. Half their starting XI is ours.

That's really unfortunate. Depends on the break, but broken toes take awhile to heal because the player is always on them and it's not like you can put a cast on and still get around with ease. One of our Dynamo players broke his toe in mid May and came back a couple of weeks ago but he's still in match form.

OK, clarified. Suspected broken toe, pending scan tomorrow. We better hope it's not a break!

It's pretty much a cert. The physio's have already called it... :(

    Next 3 games

    Sep 9 Spurs (H)
    Sep 13 Celtic (H)
    Sep 17 Arsenal (H)

Those are not the games you want your best CB out for. :(

We could be looking at 3weeks min, depending on the toe. Then you have to factor in match fitness and sharpness... A month. ********.

When I broke my little toe I couldn't walk or train on it for 2 and half months. Rio definitely didn't break his big toe or he wouldn't have been able to even see out the game.

It could be 1month min or 10-12weeks max, which would obviously be a disaster.

If this is true and IF Fergie doesnt call Evans/Pique back I call for his head.It doesnt look as bad since he finished off the match. Theres still time in the transfer window surely we can loan someone if we dont get Pique/Evans back.

Recall Evans, imo. Unless Heinze/Vidic both recover by the next game.

Maybe it's just a ploy to keep him from the International match. [/hoping]

    Hah! Crutches, bitch! :p

    ---------Wes----Silvestre
    O'Shea----------------------Evra

for the forseeable future. Gabby is a long way from 1st team and Vidic has a broken wrist...although he's supposed to be playing next weak for country?

Ohhh! more games like today's with Tweety at the back! Yay!

I'd rather see Simpson and move O'Sheezy CB and boot Sylvestre to the touch line. Can't be worse, well maybe not.
