First time Lo Celso has done anything. Get Arzura on. Calleri the new Higuain. Useless but scores.

Concentrate instead of pretending to be an eagle. You're not Batigol mate.

Useless Calleri makes the wrong decisions again. Slow clumsy and unable to think clearly.

Comical football. This team lacks clinical precision apart from one player. Ascacibar.

Olartichoker needs to be consigned to the dustbin. We need younger coaches . Balls we sent them all abroad...... Oh for some money. Perhaps they can unlock the vaults in Geneva....

With the federation in shambles as it is, tough to expect more. Obviously we deserve better but I can't put all the blame on what are arguably the victims, guys that probably shouldn't be in this position but stepped up at least.

Outside of Rulli's blunder in the first game, he has been one player that should be apart of the senior team. His saves and distribution have been great.

And this wasn't exactly a good result either. A draw will send us home vs Honduras.

This team can improve a whole lot more. It is playing well beneath it's potential.

I enjoyed watching Ascacibar. A real diamond. Aggressive, works hard all game. Reads the game, tackles when required and can pass as well. Organizes others around him. And only a kid.

Three of the others may be seleccion material too. Gomez, Correa and Rulli. The others have shown nothing of any note. Lo Celso has been very disappointing.

I'd engineer Mamanna, Gomez, Ascacibar and him along with Dybala, Icardi into the senior side quite quickly. So far Lo Celso and Calleri have shown nothing at all. Don't trust Romero as a five, Martinez and Pavon are headless chickens. Soto needs to learn how to defend and Espinoza is also a bit brainless.

Anyway yaboo sucks to the locals.....:ROFLMAO:

If we cannot beat Honduras they should pack up and deflate all the balls in Argentina, take down all the nets and pull out the flags. Level the stadiums and give up.

I agree, Ascacibar has played well, he has had some errors but he plays in a position where mistakes can be costly but his potential is sky high.

Lo Celso, I think is still very raw. He had a great connection with Cervi at Central and has yet to find that connection with the team. He'll grow, I am ready to throw in the towel with him. As with Ascacibar, playing in the MF isn't easy on a youngsters, very few can succeed right away.

Gomez is a dynamic FB. In the RB position, we have a bright future, the likes of Peruzzi, Gomez and Salazar. But Mercado will perhaps keep that position for the time being.

On the LB, Tagliafico has an high IQ for the game. He is mature beyond his years. Even though his spell in Spain's second division didn't go well where he picked up a lot of cards but has done quite well since his return a few seasons back. I'd love to see him give a call-up.

There is a lot of talent but the they simply cannot click.

As @locoxriver has stated, it is a shame the likes of Dybala, Icardi and Lanzini are not here.

I have said it once and I will say it again, Dybala is the best Argentine talent I have seen since Messi.

Last week Mina Rzouki (who writes about Italian football ESPN and other outlets) was on World Football Phone In and she stated that Dybala is the next best thing in football, that he is simply magnificent and the best thing Juve have had since Del Piero. A year ago she was talking about that he was hyped(Which told me that she didn't really watch him play in his previous stints at Palermo and in Argentina) now she is on that Dybala bandwagon.

I hope.... HOPE whenever Messi comes back that we get to see Dybala on the pitch with Messi. That is something I am really eager to see. But, Messi needs to take his time coming back.

Central American and smaller teams like Honduras will tend to play a very defensive game where they will draw a lot of fouls. Also, if we do not get an early goal, I believe the team could end up suffering and the longer the game goes 0-0 or tied, the players may lose their cool. Nobody wants to go home now, and the game could turn up ugly. We need to win, its as simple as that.
