For the third consecutive year Hege Riise was given the award for being the top Norwegian women's soccer player. Last night Hege was honored at the annual awards banquet given by the Norwegian Sports Executive Committee. Hege received this year's award for her outstanding play both for the WUSA Champion Carolina Courage and for the Norwegian National Team. Congratulations Hege!!
