Riise & Lehn To Start Against the U.S.

Norway's head coach Åge Steen has announced his starting eleven for their first match in the Four Nations Tournament vs. the U.S. and it was no surprise that Courage starters Hege Riise and Unni Lehn will both be in the midfield for Norway along with Courage Internation Discovery Player candidate Solveig Gulbrandsen. Other WUSA players starting for Norway are Anita Rapp in the midfield and Dagny Mellgren as the lone striker.

Norway will be using a 4-5-1 formation with Bente Nordby's teammate on Kolbotn Ingvild Stensland getting her first CAP starting in the center of the Norwegian defense. Ingrid Hjelmseth will also get her first CAP starting in goal in place of the retired Nordby in favor of the mistake prone Astrid Johannessen.

Upon further review it now looks like Hege might be passing to someone else and Unni is making sure that she stays out of the way. BTW - good eyes Oddball#34. There is no way that I would haved noticed on such a small picture, a logo off of Hege's uniform.
