If you can't beat'em (i.e. Fox), join em. It's only a matter of time until CNN also gets the message. Right Move: Noonan Joins MSNBC MSNBC has added another conservative commentator to its stable hiring speechwriter-author-Friday Wall Street Journal Columnist Peggy Noonan, who will also contribute to NBC News the network said this weekend. Noonan, a former speechwriter for President Ronald Reagan, will deliver two commentaries a week on MSNBC, appearing on 'Hardball with Chris Matthews' at 7PM, and 'Scarborough Country' with Joe Scarborough at 10 PM. The network said the will 'contribute' to NBC News programs throughout the year but declined to be more specific. MSNBC has moved to hire several conservative commentators in recent months, including Scarborough, a former Republican Congressman, and Radio talk show host Michael Savage who has a one hour show on Saturdays. While 'Countdowns' former sportscaster Keith Olberman brings a smart aleky skepticism to his newscast, he is not as overtly ideological on the air the way Savage, Noonan and Scarborough are.
