From the Rapids website - "The Rapids waived developmental players Amir Lowery, Ricky Lewis, Josh Elbaum and Alexandre Boucicaut." Has Ricky Lewis always been a developmental player?
This is correct. He was on the last year of his P-40 contract. He would have been a senior player this year and thank god the Rapids realized he didn't earn that spot.
Yeah I agree. He seemed kind of like Trembly. He had potential, he improved some but his rate of improvement and his potential remaining was overtaken by this increasing age and subsequent cost. Except I think he was better than Trembly.
