well not just to ask you to get me tickets, im not really like that. I was just looking around and saw you help the fans with extra tickets you come across. i think thats a great deed you do and was gonna ask if you may be able to help me get to a few more home games this year. im not a plastic fan who will take your ticket and never hear of again, i goto every reserve game at barnet as i live local, and travel to see arsenal all over europe as im part of the travel club. But you know the deal with home tickets, if your not part of the TRS or a season ticket holder you dont have much chance. I was just wondering if you could help out next season?. Thanks.
I do try to help out with tickets yes, although I am going to be honest with you. I and my friend who started doing this, meant it for American and other foreign fans. The reasoning for this is that coming from abroad options are severly limited. Touts seems to be the only option, which in the long run really helps no-one. Can I ask, as you say you go to every reserve game, and travel to Europe - are you on the waiting lists for TRS membership? I know that the season ticket waiting lists are very long, but to be honest if you had applied for a TRS even 4 years ago, you would of got it this summer. I am not saying you are a 'plastic fan', but I will be blatently honest - I am always suspicious of people who say they are from London and can't get to home games. This is because last year for example, including the Carling Cup games, about 15 home games reached general sale on ticketmaster. Yes it's only at 9.30am on a designated morning, and yes sometimes they only announce it on arsenal.com the evening before, but if a Londoner puts in the effort ot get tickets, they would be able to get to quite a few, including the last game of the season against Leicester.......... As you are on the Travel Club, do you not go to away games in England?
Ok i understand your position to help out foreign fans, yes i am currently on the TRS waiting list. i went to every carling cup game last season..home and away and every match that went on general sale..Middlesborough,Lokomotiv moscow,charlton, and a few more. I just wish i could make it more games, hence me asking you. i understand if you cant help.
