Los Angeles Lakers guard Rick Fox tried to pimp slapp Doug Cristie of the Sacramento Kings with a sly, "hands up" gesture only to be greeted by a prompt, swift left uppercut to the jaw Friday night in an NBA pre-season matchup. Fox, still clearly dazed by the blow, and Cristie were both immediatley ejected from the contest. Then, in a momment of sheer chaos, Fox sprinted through the tunnel and came around on the other side, hoping to catch Cristie off guard on his way to the Kings dressing room. Fox then comes out of nowhere, misses a punch, and then promptly has has -$$ handed to him with a left cross to the temple and a right elbow to the face that finished him off. Then, like a seen out of the Lizard of Oz, Shaquille O'Neil comes out of nowhere comically looking like the Jolly Giant Pajama Fairy in defense of a nowhere to be seen Fox. The game was heated even before gametime with Shaq refering to Sacramento as the "Queens", and with Phil Jackson's remarks that if not for Kobe's stomach flu, the Lakers would have "swept the Kings easily" in last years conference finals. But be rest assured after tonight's fireworks, there's at least one Laker player who knows the diffrence between Kings and Queens. For him, they're not just a pain in the rear, they're also a knuckle to the grill. -TMACK
Fox became an arrogant ass when he started playing in LA, acting, and dating Vanessa Williams. He never pulled this crap with the Celtics.
When he plays for Celtics, one of my best friend lived in the same apartment as Rick Fox. I saw him once at Lechmere.

blah, blah, blah... and they will still get their asses handed to them by the lakers in the playoffs and will once again b/c cry babies like they were last year, complaining about the officiating... same old thing...
Fox tried to get revenge and got his a$$ handed to him. If he tried that crap with the Knicks 10 years ago, Fox would have had several bones broken. But that's why I liked the Knicks-Bulls series of that time, even though the Knicks lost EVERY time, it seemed, they never really got into it, huge brawls and such, like these two teams. They just fought extremely hard on the hardwood, and when the final whistle blew, it was over. Unless McDaniel decided to mess with Jordan...
Fox is now SORRY for his actions in the Friday preseason game LMAO He's getting a 5 game suspension for sure!
wrong dandyandy http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news/ap/20021028/ap-lakers-kingssuspensions.html fox gets his face knocked around like a rag doll and then gets a 6 game suspension christie? 2 games... nice
Was the Starks-Pippen or whoever the heck was rumbling in the Jordan era? I forget but other than that one instance I don't remember any of that stuff happening between the two. I enjoyed the 80s fight where Parish knocked Laimbeer into next month though.
Fox was the one who did an end around and AMBUSHED Christie in the tunnel - that is why he got 6 games... Hey, I was only off by 1 game
Christie's wife got a 1 game suspension for leaving the stands. The other Kings players are happy that crazy bitch will have to stay away, but demanded for more games. If you see Doug Christie grab his leg during timeouts, that will be his cell phone set on vibrate she taped to his thigh. His wife will be calling to see how he is doing. She will remind him that he had better play harder so he can get his fat contract renewal so he can buy her some more things.
I do remember Pipen standing over Ewing when he dunked on him and Patrick getting up and a shoving match started. The fights/brawls between the Knicks and Bulls paled in comparison to the all out trenc warfare between the Heat and Knicks after Judas left (Riley).
