I am a DC United fan that is moving to Richmond, will be house-hunting and dealing with stuff on Saturday so might not be making the trek to RFK. Any places in Richmond that will be showing the game? My temporary digs do not have the appropriate channels and besides watching the game with other fans is much more enjoyable.

    Thanks,
    RWH

Welcome to richmond! there are a couple places around that may show the match. Contact Banditos, and Penny Lane Pub. Most of your neighbors will have the channel if you ask em :D

Where in richmond are you moving, i might be able to tell you some places to look for a showing.
I live in the Fan (near downtown but not the suburbs either) right in the middle. Banditos will be your best bet. Its on Patterson Ave. down here in the fan district.

Thanks for the info. my wife has been to Penny Lane although that was years ago. Is Banditos the hangout for the Kickers fans? I thought I read that in a thread awhile back. My chances of going up are looking better. Love the Fan, been checking out a few houses there, also looking at the Westside. Current temp. digs are in Shockoe Bottom. There is O'BrienStiens right near here that looks like it is trying to be a pub, is it image or might I be able to see some games there. I haven't bothered to check it out.

Unrelated question, I noticed that US National team is going to play New Zealand down here on June 8th. with the small stadium you all have, will I need to get tickets early?
