Any interest? 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon a bar is a good place to be, the great outdoors have nothing to offer but sunburn and chiggers. One option, we met the Popkins manager at the last viewing party and he offered the upstairs rooms which has leather couches and very nice screens. If there is interest I will give him a call if not you all are on your own. He seemed like a nice guy and was actually watching the game.
I'd like to try Popkin Tavern out this week but I'm not sure how early they open. Penny Lane doesn't open until 4 on Saturday.
I left the manager's card at work. I'll give him a call tomorrow, I also need to check if a 3 year old is allowed up there. I'll post what he says but it might not be until evening, work is forcing me to actually work the entire day and that sucks.
I called up there and they don't open up until 4:30 on Saturday. An option for an evening game but not an afternoon it seems. Is Penny Lane opening early this weekend for FA Cup? Starts at 3:00 so thinking they probably will be.
Penny Lane won't be so kid friendly that day. Hell I could throw some burgers on the grill and host. In fact it is officially a plan. Any and all Richmondites are invited over to my house to watch the game and eat a burger. Once I get a few commitments I'll figure out the details. Disclaimer my tv is a normal size and the living room is not massive but I don't think we will have a horde of folks.
