Richards tried a tricky heel pass but the ball went right out of bounds. Perhaps unsurprisingly, he’s been hit and miss offensively, but solid defensive

Chris' touchline play could use some work; it's as if he was a CB playing out of position.....

As another turnover is added to the stats on a failed back heel I remind myself that at least his turnovers have all been on the attacking end.

Wow, almost as if a Center back is playing a Full back's position.

He has probably been told to play it very conservatively in his own half.

If they still had Haaland RBS would be up by three goals right now.

Was Richards at fault on that last chance by RBS? I couldn’t tell on the replay

Bayern scores off a rebound save.

Wow and Lewa scores a off a rebound out of nothing.

I really have an aversion to the annoying Munich music they plan when they score.

Chris can play fine at FB, but he's very much so right footed and asking him to play left is obviously impacting his ball qualities. All good though. Bayern just went ahead.

You can never call it against the run of play when Lewa is on your team. But RBS were dominating before that goal.

yeah his overlaps look awkward technically but I think he's doing fine positioning wise

Neuer giving Richards instructions on positioning for a GK...move deeper young man!

Richards probably benched after this half. He did okay aside from giving the ball away.

Richards with his first really bad turnover but it comes to nothing. He started solid and finished as the worst player on the field. Not sure why they aren’t playing three in the back instead of screwing with his confidence by playing him as a left back.

Do they have anyone to replace him with ? Seems he is already an emergency LB replacement.

Formation change maybe? Or just have him stay back.

Of course he's not pulled lol. I don't know what the heck Gnabry was just doing lying down there during the free kick. A first! Second half has begun.

What an unlucky deflection for Salzburg.
