Mitchell concedes a penalty to Bernardo Silva. I continue to think he's the weakest player who gets a lot of time for this team. Ugh.
Marmoush couldn’t have telegraphed it more if he had pointed to the bottom corner and said “I’m shooting it here.”
I mean not that shocking given the way City have lost games this season. I’m glad Palace scored because it’s made watching more interesting. Richards had perhaps a goal saving intervention to flick on a ball to prevent Haaland header from a yard out. I think VAR missed on the dogso and the pk.
Wow! Richard’s with a good throw in the box, the ball bounces around and then is slammed home for the second goal for Crystal. MC in trouble Edit: offside. Damn
Did Matt Turner just play peacemaker with Pep Guardiola after the final whistle? Hilarious. Richards earned his trophy - played quite well in the shutout.
Hard to say - maybe some trash talk? Looks like he apologized. Or Pep said he shouldn’t have been in the pitch because of the dogso.
Fantastic game from Mr. Richards, and what a great thing for Palace and their fans. And a shout out to Matt too, he may not have played in the final, but he was a big part of the journey to get here.
That's a pretty decent result. Good for Palace. They're a boring club but this gives them a bit of swag for now.
Yeah, apparently won the penally shoot out with Bristol City back in February, made a save in it, didn't get annihilated in his other FA Cup starts either. So cool to have two Americans on this team having played a role, and Richards being a key element in the final . There first ever trophy at this level?
Wtf boring? I don’t think so even though they parked the bus in this game. Decent result? Also wtf. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/63...tal-palace-fa-cup/?source=user_shared_article
