Palmeiras look great, its not easy to compete with a euro team and at times Samu gets his way the man is a freaking tank and he's good on the ball too.

Richard Rios struggling a bit because its not easy to stop these guys once they get going, its not a knock on him. He gave an amazing long ball to Estevao which nearly went in

If Rios can't find a buyer after this game he'll definitely never go to europe. Fantastic game by our boy.
Impressive that 18 year old kid Mora Porto subbed off now. To me a more interesting talent than estevao. Same age but plays more maturely.

Estevao player of the game...Ha! He looked lightweight as hell. Weird selection. Rios among others looked better.

    thats a great price imo

    Al Ahly vs Palmeiras?

that will be a great game. Al Ahly love to play on the counter, very quick aggressive players but really shit in the final third.

I could've sworn Al ahly was a Saudi team, was surprised that it was Egyptian and with hardly any foreigners either. Like nacional back in the day.. impressive to draw against Miami.

I think there's a good likelihood that Rios might be our 2nd best player and possibly 2nd most influential within a year. He's like a deep midfield version of Diaz who can do everything and has a real battling attitude, and like Diaz he's a late bloomer who has some rough edges but if and when he puts it all together he has elite qualities.

Not if he stays in Brazil. He needs to play a faster and more intensive football like yesterday in order to get to the next level. Where they don't allow you 3-4 seconds to shoot or make a pass.

for a futsal player, he needs to improve his ball control

I find it's just inconsistent in some games he is outstanding on the ball. Last Copa America he was fantastic throughout.

im a huge fan of both Rios and Arias. Both should be playing in Europe by now. They can handle a 50 game schedule and are 90 minute guys and they are a good fit in today’s world of box to box MF’s

Yeah I thought Ríos suffered a bit in the beginning with the pace of the game and came in late in a few challenges. But once he adapted he was great and one of the best players on the pitch. Hope they don't drop any more points so we can see more of him in the final stages.

    Palmeiras redcarded vs Al Ahly.

They were so damn lucky about 20 minutes ago when they didn't get another red card, but those stupid people didn't learn and just kept on playing rough.

Well hope they won't lose now. I'll take the draw. At least it wasn't Rios sent off.

Apparently they changed it from red to yellow.
But very lucky they didn't make a VAR look on that first challenge I mentioned. That one was worse.

They can be lucky they got an EPL ref Anthony Taylor, which is used to overly physical challenges. Another Ref would've shown the red immediately I think.

Very tough team that egyptian team though. I thought they would be an easier opponent than Porto but so far it hasn't been that way at all.

Miami beat Porto with a Messi freekick. Pretty open who is going to advance from the group now, bit Palmeiras should win the group. I even thought the Egyptians looked strong.

I was at the game today. Rios looked solid and brought a lot of balance to the midfield. Palmeiras’ fan base was great.

hot AF though. I was drenched lol

tempted to come back on Saturday to see Arias play - Fluminese plays a Korean team

    What a bizarre game

    Messi saves the day.

I caught a glimpse of the game

Porto in the first half looked like they were going to steamroll them. Idk what happened
