    Wow. I feel so bad for him. The image of him getting helped off the field makes it look serious again. He must be devastated.

    Nothing yet - only Dutch report of the game (which JPSV lost 2-1) I've seen simply reports the injury:

    PSV suffered another major setback in the opening phase – Richard Ledezma was injured

    This sounds pretty speculative based, it seems, just on what they could see - he came out of the game early and left the stadium on crutches, but I'll post translations of the most salient bits:

    There is again bad news for Richard Ledezma, who was injured on Friday evening.

    "It does not look good for Richard Ledezma again," writes Rik Elfrink of the Eindhovens Dagblad. "The PSV player will be further investigated in the coming days. After an earlier knee and ankle injury, it is now a matter of waiting to see what comes out of the investigation."

    The American left the NAC stadium on crutches, which raises fears of another serious injury.

  13. Seems to be an ankle injury, nothing known yet about the severity.

    Wel,l at least generally "ankle" is better than "knee".

    On the road to recovery:

    @RikElfrink

    Richard Ledezma is already training on the field at PSV. His injury is not too bad, says Ruud van Nistelrooij. ,, As a precaution, he walked on crutches, but fortunately it still looks good."

    JPSV game today was postponed (I didn't look to see why) so no idea if there was any thought to giving ledezma a Jong runout before he's back with the bigs.

    Bad weather - for all those dying to know the reason for the postponement of the game that Ritchie was probably not going to play in anyway.

    I wasn't dying to know, but now that I do I hope it wasn't due to the conditions in Eindhoven--I looked at the weather from yesterday. Temperature in the low 40s with occasional drizzle doesn't sound like "postpone a soccer game" kind of weather to me. Of course, how different could the weather possibly be in a different part of the country?

  23. We had a yellow alert (rain and snow/hail) in the country at that day and the pitch was soaked to the condition of being useless.
