FWIW Dutch/PSV twitter is mixed on Ledezema. Seems about a 3rd think he's not good enough, a 3rd like him, think he should be loaned, another 3rd think he's good enough to get minutes. Have not seen anything that looks very official or well sourced about any loans or transfers last few days.

It still feels gross to be happy the lightbulbs doing anything positive...

Random Fortuna Sittard fan pitching for Ritchie...

1540737527585308672 is not a valid tweet id

Also a few Mexican posters claiming him...

As angry as I was over a talent like Araujo getting all of his youth experience with the us youth teams only to jump ship at the last minute I am starting to find it a bit amusing that Mexico needs to poach so hard in the us market. The us has really become a hotbed of soccer talent. I have to assume that bodes well for our future. For decades of my life the rest of the world really seemed to look down on soccer in our country. IMO we have really turned a corner.

My vague based-on-nothing-much sense is Ledezma goes on loan if the right opportunity presents. Most PSV-types seem to think he's too-good-to-abandon but not-good-enough-to-get-meaningful-minutes-yet. I don't know PSV's management thinking well enough, but a decent number of rando Dutch fans pitched loan ideas over the past month, I'm guessing it's a good possibility.

  8. PSV has stated not so long ago as a target for the future they want the first team to be filled by at least 50% from the Young team.

We got Musah that way. I think that's a net win.

I agree but that wasn’t my point. Doing your due diligence to scout dual nats on foreign soil makes sense for every country but it should not be the primary way you add talent to your NT. IMO Mexico (and a large portion of concacaf) are starting to really rely on scouting talent that either grew up here or started their pro/college careers here. I think that bodes well for the USMNT and soccer as a whole in this country. I.e. it means the US has a lot of talent and player development is working.

He's replacing Mario Gotze who's leaving for Eintract Frankfurt in the midfield talent pool.

Competition, yes, but I doubt it means more competition.

Is this because he was particularly good in this game or was the "feature focus" for their channel?

Or was it because this is SOP for every player who got measurable minutes?

Not sure the backstory on it, but cool to see. Wish they would do every touch but will take what we can get.

thats seemingly good news- that doan is the dest-esque first option at am and second choice on the right.

id be thrilled if richie could get 10-20 minutes off the bench every other match for a month in a row. its been such a nightmare 5 years for him, i just want him to be able to really, truly be able to start his career.

He was good in the 1st half. Could've had a couple of assists.

  21. Doan seems to be on the way out to Germany.

an important note to my other comment would be "assuming they dont bring in anyone else at that spot"- which (and im going strictly by the posted depth chart) means they almost certainly will if doan is leaing.

i mean, it would irresponsible to have ledezma that close to "needed".

What lots of folks have been saying "could be loaned" - but adds they think he has long-term potential at PSV.
