How do you guys rate this player currently? All I know is he was Spain's top scorer 2 years ago until he suffered a horrific leg injury than went back to Brazil. Before that I remember him being Brazil's fourth choice striker.

How do you guys rate him presently? What kind of player is he alltogether? And finally if any of you have briefly watched Milan recently do you reckon he could make an improvement to the team?

He is very good, fast and has excellent ball control.
I'm sure he could improve your team.

he might fit in well because he is the kind of striker that excells on good midfieild build up, he should do well with Kaka behind him but i dont know if he can make a partnership with Gilardino though

Spending the first semester at Sao Paulo was the best thing he could have done. After getting top treatment at the team's facilities, he came back and managed to regain his form playing for the team at the Brazilian League and Libertadores Cup. His current form seems infinitely better than Ronaldo's, as someone suggested. He definitely merits a place in most top European teams.

well the latest rumor now is that Zenit St Petersburg offered Betis a 1 year loan deal and then an eventual transfer of 17 million euros after a season. in addition, i think that zenit offered oliveira a better contract.

i hope Ricardo doesnt make the switch. i think the russian league is decent if you want to use it as a stepping stone, but i think a player of oliveira's calibre is better off going to Milan. CL competition...and the potential to link up with Gilardino up front, to me, is more enticing than getting paid a bit more. we'll see.

at his age and point in his career, the last thing he has to worry about is getting a big payday as if he does great things with the bigger clubs and Brasil then the money will follow just like it has for the likes of Rivaldo, Batigol, and many others who went to places like Greece and Qatar after they have already assured there place in the history books and memory of fans

Could be a good signing. I'm worried because he's coming from the Middle East, where good fitness is generally not required and his age. Still a better gamble than Damiao lol.

He just signed a new contract with santos and has looked pretty good so far. The brasileirao will be a whole different animal than the paulistao but gabigol in reserve makes me feel comfortable. Here are two of his goals.
