Er, I also remember watching Bolton struggle for a large part of an FA Cup game against mighty Rossendale United. Do I get condolences for that as well?

Would anyone else be happier if he just stayed home a little while?

I don't know if our USMNT prospects - other than defenders and GKs - should look at the Championship as a good option. Maybe not even 2nd tier EPL.

When Bake first went to Fulham he talked about the difficulty in transition back and forth from there to USMNT. He cited the difference in focus from speed at Fulham to technique at USMNT.

The Nats play how they play. It will probably not change, we will just find the best players to play the style.

I am beginning to think moves to places like Spain, Portugal, Holland, France are better jump points for our top prospects. Obviously Arsenal, Chelsea, ManU, Newcastle, and Liverpool are good for anybody if they can get a place in the team.

I just can't see how a move to a club like Reading or Wigan or even Fulham could be a good move for someone like Rico (other than obvious $)...

    UNLESS

He was going to be the 1 or 2 key players they build their team around.

The transfer window isn't even open yet.

But when the dust settles, I believe I'll be proven right.
