That works - my Spanish is good enough to make out what the gist is from the Portuguese. However, what does "no" mean in Portuguese then? :p

If this goes through, I'll be quite happy, although 30M is quite a steep price tag. And, to be honest, I preferred Andrade. But no complaints, especially since Carvalho and Ferreira will already be used to playing together, both for the national team and Porto.

On second glance, you're right that "no" may make things somewhat confusing; anways, in portuguese "no" = in!

Heheh. You're welcome for the cash - just quit diving (I'm talking to you Carlos Alberto!). You're thinking of Seitaridis, btw, as the Greek RB.
If Carvalho and Ferreira play as well for us as they did for you, it'd be money well spent.

:p Yea, I gathered that much. I know a decent amount of Spanish.(bastanate para preguntar - donde esta la cerveza? Porque no hay cerveza aqui? Da me mi cerveza! *burp* Donde esta el bano? etc.)
I read the story and it seemed pretty clear that he's on his way to London for his physical after the move had been agreed on.

If this true this would be a wonderful signing for you lot. You all are so strong it is scary. Still have the faith that we will beat you all at Stamford bridge though.

I'm not sure if it is a done deal yet but I did hear that Kenyon flew from Seattle back to Stamford Bridge to try to close the deal.

Yes, yes, I know its the sun but here is a link re: £13 mil deal and Lamp contract, (hopefully more reliable confirmation soon)

ROTFLMAO. At first I read that and thought it was referring to Totti, but then I saw you meant Tottenham and King. For almost 40M euros they're MORE than welcome to King.

Congratulations on buying the best CB in the world. No exageration there... and it won't take you all much time to realize this.

The man completely shuts down any opponent player.
He has time to help other deffenders when they lose position.
Ant he doesn't even have to resort to foul much.

30 mil might seem too much but he's worth it.

Just wait and see... he will be an idol for you as he was for us.

    Best of luck

Not only that, they reportedly told Aresenal for King they would want Henry, Campball and wait for it......cash and plenty of it. King stepped up big for England at Euro and shows great talent but thats quite a markup.

It all may be nonsense but it is more entertaining than watching Man U/Bayern.

Great pick up by Chelsea though.

anyone think that this is bad news for Gallas? he was our most injured defender last term & i think Carvalho is closer is style to him than to Terry. just a thought.

you thought WG hated playing on the right? try sitting on the bench:)

I think Billy will be fine. He always seems to pick up minor injuries. There's no way we're selling him.

I dont think he meant in danger of being sold but rather might become 3rd choice? Amen to what everyone has been saying... Good signing by the Blues!
