Rhythm or Fire?

    &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp If Nike had its way, MLS would have had the 'Chicago Rhythm' playing in the Windy City.

    &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp I'm glad that's not the case. Between the two, I like the name 'Fire' better.

    I don't like the team, but Fire definitely sounds better than Rhythm (sp?).

    &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp And Nike wanted to use a logo featuring a cobra for the Chicago Rhythm. :confused:

    Was The Burn a creation of Nike? I still can't get over the logo, a horse with lightning for legs. Where in the hell did they get that crap? And why in the hell has it not been changed or improved?

    Anyway, good thing we have Fire instead of The Rythm. Anybody else know any names Nike wanted but thank God didn't stick?

    Hmmm...good question. Maybe instead of one of the current nicknames they can change it to the "Freddies" or "FC Le Bron"
