Commentator says CP has had some 'very bright moments' so far. just had a solo run down the left and tried to go near post but off target.
Yeah absolute blew past the defense, too fast for his teammates. Had no other options but to go for goal.
Finishing was not good enough. Had three good opportunities and: 1. Straight at keeper 2. Whiffed 3. Side netting On the bright side, with the exception of the goal on a turnover at the top of the box, Pulisic was their only real threat.
This has been his issue since after his first full season with BVB. Nobody can keep up with him at times so it makes his final product look pretty poor.
Barcelona changed the team completely for the second half, even the keeper. Malcom-Rafinha-Carles up top now, Griezmann, Dembele and Collado out.
Out of his three decent chances in the first half none were sitters and all were created by his ability to find space where others on his team were mostly unable. He also set Abraham up for a good chance. He could have been more effective with his chances, but there’s no way Lampard looks objectively at his performance and is anything less than ecstatic that he has Pulisic in his team.
Best attacking player on the field during the first 45 in my opinion. But didn’t finish the chances he created.
He was ok. The problem is that you don't pay $73 million for ok. But it's just a data point. The Chelsea fans remain optimistic, the alternative would be grim. Puli's price ensures he's going to have all the time he needs to get to approach the price tag.

Puli’s defensive pressure on the ball caused the pass which the Barca guy received and then gave away for the Chelsea goal. But honestly, for a $20M player, Puli should have stolen the ball and scored straightaway. Poor indeed.
When you compare Pulisic's performance to the triple hat tricks of Dembele and Griezmann, it really puts into perspective that Pulisic was really just a kind of ok system player for Tuchel at Dortmund. As I've been saying for years. It's on the internet. Read it. I'm smart.
